Loading inspection of 23 000 mt pig iron in Novorossiysk, Russia

Technical Controls & Inspection Services (TCIS) performed loading inspection of 23 000 mt of pig iron for one of our clients in the port of Novorossiysk, Russia.

Loading was performed by means of cranes/grabs from a pile of the cargo directly into the ship's holds. During the inspection the samples of the cargo were taken and dispatched to a reputable laboratory for chemical analyses.

The scope consisted of the following:

  • preshipment inspection
  • attendance during loading
  • visual examination of the cargo
  • pig's size and weight checking
  • sampling of the cargo
  • chemical analysis
  • reporting and certificates issuance

The inspection was successfully performed, the certificates were issued and delivered to the client.
